Telkom Business named iPECS Service Provider Partner of the Year for second year

Telkom Business has once again been recognised as the iPECS Service Provider Partner of the Year at the global iPECS Partner Conference, marking the second consecutive year the company has received the award.

The recognition places Telkom Business among the top-performing global service provider partners for the iPECS communications portfolio. The category includes major international telecommunications operators that distribute and support iPECS solutions in their markets.

Telkom Business first received the award in 2025. The 2026 recognition confirms sustained performance and continued growth in the adoption of iPECS communication and collaboration solutions by South African businesses.

iPECS is a unified communications platform developed by iPECS, part of Ericsson. It allows organisations to integrate voice, messaging, video conferencing and collaboration tools into a single communication system. Businesses use these platforms to replace traditional office phone systems with modern, internet-based communication solutions that support mobile work, multiple locations and digital collaboration.

The shift toward digital workplaces has accelerated sharply in South Africa’s since 2024, and over 70% of companies now view digital transformation as a strategic priority and more than half have invested in modern communication platforms to support hybrid and distributed teams.

The award was presented at the annual global iPECS partner conference and recognises service providers that demonstrate strong market performance, customer adoption and commitment to delivering advanced communication solutions.

Hasnain Motlekar, CCO of Telkom Business, said the recognition reflects the strength of Telkom Business’s partnership with iPECS and its focus on delivering reliable communications solutions to customers.

“This recognition reflects the strength of our partnership with iPECS and the work our teams are doing to support businesses across South Africa,” said Motlekar. “Organisations need communication platforms that are reliable, flexible and able to support modern ways of working. Our focus remains on delivering solutions that help businesses collaborate more effectively and operate with confidence.”

For Telkom Business, the award highlights continued momentum in its communications portfolio and growing demand from South African organisations for modern, cloud-enabled communication platforms.

The recognition also reflects the strength of the partnership between Telkom Business and iPECS in bringing globally developed communications technologies to the local market. “As organisations modernise their communications infrastructure, Telkom Business continues to support businesses with scalable solutions designed to meet the needs of an increasingly digital workplace.
