    Nutanix Appoints Raif Abou Diab as Country Manager South Gulf & Sub-Saharan Africa

    Johannesburg, South Africa – October 16, 2024 – Nutanix (NASDAQ:NTNX), a leader in hybrid multicloud computing, has announced that Raif Abou Diab has been appointed as Country Manager South Gulf and Sub-Saharan Africa. In this new role, Raif will lead Nutanix’s expansion efforts in the South Gulf and Sub-Saharan African region, focusing on driving growth and strengthening the company’s presence across the continent.

    Raif brings over two decades of experience in the IT industry, having held multiple leadership positions across the Middle East and Africa. Prior to his current role as Country Manager for South Gulf and Sub-Saharan Africa, he successfully managed operations for Nutanix in the UAE, Oman, Yemen, and Pakistan. His tenure at Hewlett Packard Enterprise saw him leading diverse regional teams, including as Managing Director for Egypt, Qatar, and Levant, where he spearheaded transformation initiatives in hybrid cloud, AI, and multi-tenancy solutions, delivering remarkable year-over-year growth.

    His extensive expertise spans strategic planning, revenue growth, and talent management. At EMC and CA Technologies, he significantly grew market share and cultivated successful channel and distribution strategies. His proven track record in driving transformation, building strategic partnerships, and navigating complex business environments makes him exceptionally well-qualified to lead Nutanix’s growth in the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
