    CO- Open Innovation Studios showcases its intellectual property that has propelled its growth Afr Tech 2024

    Johannesburg — COOi Studios a leading digital transformation acceleration partner to South Africa’s largest corporates is set to participate at Africa Tech Festival 2024, which will take place November 11th to 14th at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). The company will share its intellectual property that explains their exponential growth despite the pandemic that erupted seven (7) months after opening its doors. 

    COOi Studios Founder Sandiso Sibisi, will take the EQL lounge stage, 12th November at 14:45 to share their framework for how they have built a super team that has won them cutting edge technology and design projects. “As a founder you start a business because you have a great idea, and you just want to get on with it. We as founders never signed up to be people managers! I will be sharing with founders how they can build a super team! People are integral to any business, so it’s important that founders sharpen their people and culture skills set” explains Sandiso Sibisi, Studios Director at COOi Studios.

    The use of big data to create value has been a key focus for COOi Studios, where they are helping mines use data to improve health and safety in real time, they are also helping financial service providers create better customer experiences using multiple data sources. On the panel Big Data Evolution at the AI Summit, 13th November at 12:20 Sibisi will be sharing how large corporates can use data from various original equipment manufacturers (OMEs) and readily available external sources to gather insights and exploit them into meaningful actions automatically. 

    “We work with large corporate and by nature have a plethora of data sources, many are struggling to gather insights and develop meaningful actions, our role is to help them navigate this big data and gain value from it. On the panel I will share some use cases in financial services and mining” says Sandiso Sibisi.

    Sixty percent (60%) of COOi Studios revenue is from helping clients move from ideation to execution. Sandiso, joined by Lebogang Gwala, Senior Design Research Analyst will take the Africa Tech Centre Stage 14th November 11:50, where they will share their methodologies and tools on how they are helping corporates embed design thinking in tech and company culture.
